Directory of mills
The Brandenburg Mill Directory is an open project of the Brandenburg Genealogical Society “Roter Adler” e.V. Not only members of the society but also all other interested people can participate. In this project, all currently still existing as well as former mills in historic Brandenburg are to be recorded. The data and photos in this database are completely open to the public. The names of the photographers are mentioned in each case and are thus naturally handled in accordance with copyright law.
At present this directory contains information on 226 mills.

| 1550 wird die Walkenmühle als eine zu Rinnersdorf gehörige Mahlmühle genannt. Die Walkenmühle liegt 4,5 km nordöstlich von Liebenau zwischen Packlitz-See und Hammerteich am Morgenfließ. Zur Walkenkolonie gehören drei Gehöfte mit Landwirtschaft. Schon in den 1970er Jahren ist der Ort nicht mehr zu finden (Quelle: Rinnersdorf – Dorfgeschichten von A-Z). |
