The Brandenburg Mill Directory is an open project of the Brandenburg Genealogical Society “Roter Adler” e.V. Not only members of the society but also all other interested people can participate. In this project, all currently still existing as well as former mills in historic Brandenburg are to be recorded.

The data and photos in this database are completely open to the public. The names of the photographers are mentioned in each case and are thus naturally handled in accordance with copyright law.

Of course, still not all mills in historic Brandenburg are recorded here, and many buildings are only recorded with their “raw data”. However, we are working on a further survey and looking forward to everyone who supports us in this endeavour. You can send us photos of or information on castles, palaces and manor houses by e-mail. We will then reply to you as quickly as possible and integrate the submitted foto or data into our database.
