New database: Inhabitant registers, lists of souls and lists of houses
We have launched another new database project. With the database of inhabitants’ directories, lists of souls and lists of houses we are starting an extremely interesting new project. In addition to numerous newly recorded lists and directories from the 16th to the 19th century, some of the directories and lists previously included under the “address books” are also available for research here at the start – more than 50,000 records in total.
Some of the lists contain not only the names of the inhabitants but also family and work relationships, moves to and from the town and other chronological or personal information. It is definitely worthwhile to have a look at the detailed view of the persons found!
